耳性化膿性腦膜炎の報告は古來内外共に幾多の報告あるが，茲に所謂随伴性腦膜炎の1例を報告し，腦膜炎の治療及治癒に關する見解を述べ，諸賢の御教導を乞う。
MURAKAMI reports a case of meningitis that orginated from sigmoid sinus thrombosis which was in turn a complication of chronic otitis media. The patient was successfully cured by operative treatment. A boy aged 14 who suffered from chronic otitis media since the age of 2 developed symptoms of mastoidi-tis, sinus thrombosis and meningitis. The sinus cavity was laid open with removal of thrombi after radical mastoidectomy was per-formed. Sulfamin was used as agent of instil-lation in the cavity as well as the wound and administered therapeutically in adequate dosages.
