1.緒言
最近耳性腦膜炎に對するペニシリンの經驗例は諸々の學會に於て發表されているが,原著としての報告は極めて少い模樣である.本症例は大阪に於ける第48回總會(昭和22年4月)の席上述べたものであるが當時ペニシリンを使用した報告が本邦では殆んどなかつたので敢て茲に發表する次第である.尚投稿の不手際から第1例のみ耳鼻咽喉科第20卷第1號に掲載された.從つて今回第2,第3例を以て第2回報告とする.
Kono and Nomura report the combined use of penicillin by intra-musenIar and intra-thecal routes as the sourse of cure for their three cases of meningitis of otic origin. Their patients were male adults whose were 31, 41. and, 49 years respectively. Bacterial ages agents involved in each case, in the order of the ages as listed, were pneumococcus, staphylococcus, and, unidentifiable organism (streptococcus muco-sus ?). The dosage of penicillin required in each case was 60, 120, and 30×104 units, respectively. Authors present a review with statistical studies on otitic meningitis which had been reported in this country within the past 10 years, since 1934 ta1943, and a table listing the number of cures and deaths in this disesae.
