食道神経症の臨牀的観察

　私はさきに慢性食道炎につき臨牀的観察を試み報告した。その際九大耳鼻咽喉科学教室1951年度の外来患者の食道疾患患者中，食道癌，慢性食道炎，食道神経症の頻度，年令，性，初発症状，主要自覚症状につき表示観察し，癌の早期診断に資せんとした。耳鼻咽喉科医には食道神経症は未だ等閑に附せられている傾きがあるので，私の観察成績を発表し参考に供する次第である。

MUKUNO believes that manifestation of ir-ritable esophagus may be caused by a situation in which migratory invasion of the larvae of in-testinal parasite occur within the host. His con-clusions were drawn from observations made on 14 cases of irritable esophagus, 6 cases of esoph-agectasis and 6 cases of esophagospasm which w-ere seen at the Otolaryngological Department of Kyushu University Medical School during the year 1951. In 2 cases among them, it was shown that esophagectasis was caused by presence of lo-ng standing chronic esophagitis which apparently in turn produced degeneration of Auerbach's ga-nglion. Esophagoscopic examination of these ca-ses revealed a complete flacidity of esophageal wall and patency of the lumen below the second constriction.
