咽喉粘液中結核菌染色の臨床的價値

　緒言

　所謂開放性結核であるか否かを診斷する事は感染豫防という點に於て非常に大切な事であるが，殊に集團檢診に於て重要である。しかし集團檢診に於て困る事は，喀痰檢査の必要ありと認められる者に喀痰の持參を要求しても病人心理と結核に對する理解の淺い事からして喀痰を持つて來ない者の多い事である．かゝる場合，その場で採取した檢査材料で簡單に菌檢出が出來れば非常に好都合であり，この意味に於て結核患者の咽喉粘液の單なる塗抹染色及び集菌後の塗抹染色に於てどの程度陽性率があるかを調べて見た．尤も，含嗽液或は咽頭粘液培養では相當高度の陽性率がある事は既に證明されている．

M-oreover. when such swabs are washed in physiologic-al saline and the precipitate from which is smeared and stained, they showed positive tuberculosis in one out of every 4 or 5 patients whose sputum were also positive. The method also serves as a means for raising sp-utum with some oases and in those patients whom there are difficulty in obtaining sputum, it may be an adjunct of some clinical value as diagnostic arm-amentarium.
