　緒言

　麻疹の耳鼻咽喉科領域の合併症としては急性中耳炎，急性鼻炎，口内炎，咽頭炎，プソイドクループ等が知られている．

　麻疹性急性鼻炎は麻疹のカタル期にはカタル性鼻炎となり，發疹期には鼻腔粘膜にも發疹を來し，粘膜の充血，腫脹高度となり，鼻出血，鼻入口部の濕疹等を伴うことも屡あり，副鼻腔炎を併發することもあると云われている．然し恢復期には一般にこれ等の急性炎症も漸次消退するのを常とする．

AKAI reports 3 cases of pseudomembrarious hemo-rrhagic rhinitis that apparently manifested thedise-ase condition as seduela to attack of measles. Patie-nts were children below 4 years of age, 2 female aged 2 and one male aged 4. In no case was the patient markedly debilitated. Nasal lesions highly res-embled that of hyperplastic rhinitis or of nasal dip-htheria by being covered with dried bloody scabs and grayish pseudomembranes. Repeated smear examina-tions of specimens from these lesions failed to reve-al diphtheria bacillus. The patients were cured in 10 days to 5 weeks under symptomatic treatment.
