鼓膜に穿孔を認め得ざりし中耳假性眞珠腫症例

　緒言

　中耳仮性眞珠腫（以下單に眞珠腫と記載する）は通常眞珠腫と呼ばれ，周知の如く慢性化膿性中耳炎に併発し，眞の腫瘍ではないにも拘らず絶えす増大して周囲の骨細胞を侵蝕し，化膿菌の感染と相俟ち屡々迷路炎乃至頭蓋内合併症等の重篤なる疾患を併発すので我々專門家が特別な関心を拂つているものであるが，其診断は一般に容易であつて，穿孔か鼓膜の弛緩部にあるか，或は他の部にある場合に於てはそれが辺立性であつて，其穿孔より特有な外観を呈する眞珠腫塊の一部を覗い得るか，或は特有な惡臭ある耳漏を排出するのが普通である．然るに私たちは耳鏡では鼓膜にどうしても穿孔を認めることが出來なかつたにも拘らず，第1例では耳後部が腫脹して後に，第2例では急に腦膜炎の症状を起して來て手術を施行し，初めて大なる眞珠腫があることを発見した経験を持つことが出來たので，此処に其臨床所見の概略を述べて本疾患の診断上の一資料に供したいと思う．

Undoubte-dly the present disease has its beginning in prior attacks of otitis media as they are given in the histories of patients, but integrity of tym-panic membranes must be explained by their complete healing in the meantime thereafter.
