　緒言

　私は最近激烈なる頭痛，三叉神経痛（第1枝），羞明の患者の手術を施行し，硬腦膜，S字状洞には著変なく"コペツキー，アルムーア"氏に依り錐体尖を開放した処が手術台上に於て直ちに上記症状が消失した症例を経驗し，術後錐体尖部に"ゾンデ"を挿入した写眞を撮影する事に成功したので茲に報告し諸賢の御批判を仰ぎ度いと考えている．

Daito and Yoshio report a case of a patient whose symptoms of beginning meningitis, as evidenced by presence of trigeminal neuralgia, migraine, unequal vision and hyperpyraxia, were brought to remission in a surprisingly short period of time following establishment of open drainage in the apex of petrosal pyramid, acco-rding to the method described by Almour and Kopetsky. Other points of interest in operation on anterior cells and apex are fully discussed, and X-rey picture with a sound placed in the apex that was taken after the completion of operation is also presented.
