　緒言

　扁桃腺，齒齦等に潰瘍或いは壞疽を認めた時は，血液疾患を疑つて，精密な血液檢査を行わねばならぬことは成書の教えるところである．我々は齒齦壞疽を主症状とせる急性骨髓性白血病患者に遭遇し，血液檢査を連續實施し血球發生一原論的に觀察すると共に，その臨床經過を詳しく觀察し，更に死後病理解剖學的檢索をもなし得たので，その1例を追加する．

Ino, Hori, and Kono report that a case of acute leucemia in a woman, 62 years old, the signs of which were well founded with menorrhagic, ulce-rative, and necrotic areas on the gums and fauces, failed to respond to treatment with reinforced pa-renteral injections of penicillin and sulofnamide, and blood transfusions. The patient died upon pr-eeated examinations of the blood, it was reveal-ed, a quite number of myeloid cells were negative to oxidase and peroxidase reactions. Similar resul-ts were also seen with tissuespecimens obtained at the time of necropsy.
