実験的髄液内移植腫瘍の生前検索方法と発育形態に関する研究

Investigation of Experimentally Implanted Tumor into Cerebrospinal Fluid: With special reference to its in vivo and growth studies

I．はじめに

　原発性脳腫瘍が他臓器に転移することは一般に稀であるが，腫瘍が脳脊髄液中に部分的に接して存在する松果体部腫瘍，脳室上皮腫，髄芽腫など，さらに浸潤発育し髄液中にも出てくる神経膠腫，神経膠芽腫などは，CTの出現で脳室上衣に沿って播腫していることが臨床上しばしば見られるようになった，また，脳室上皮に沿っての播腫のみならず，脳室上衣下，脳室内，脳実質内にも浸潤し腫瘍を形成している．一方，放射線療法，化学療法および併用療法の進歩により，これら原発性脳腫瘍の生存期間もやや延びてきたことにより，頭蓋内のみならず脊髄および手術侵襲により他臓器への転移の頻度も高くなってきた．今回，私達は，ウサギの非原発性脳腫瘍であるVX₂carcinomaを後頭下穿刺にて脳脊髄腔内に移植し，髄液中に播腫した腫瘍細胞がどのような発育状況を示すかを調べる目的で神経放射線学的および病理学的検索を行った．

The incidence of metastasis to another organs ofthe intracranial tumors is rate, while the intracranialdissemination of brain tumor is often experiencedclinically.

For this purpose of the formation and growth ofthe intracranial tumor dissemination, VX2 carcinomasimplanted into cisterna magna of 24 New Zealandrabbits are studied by neuroradiological and pathologicalmethods. Twenty-one out of 24 (87%) had tumorsintracranially. Nineteen cases out of 24 rabbitsdeveloped intraventricular tumors selectivelly. Twocases without the development of tumors showedmoderate dilated lateral ventricles.
