I．はじめに

　頭蓋内原発germinomaは松果体部や鞍上部などの正中部に好発し，大脳基底核や視床に発生することは稀であるといわれている．著者らが集積した報告においても，大脳基底核部germinomaは1953年Hoshino^3）以来15例にすぎない．さらに大脳基底核部germinomaは診断上，他の疾患との鑑別に苦慮するところである．

　著者らは50例の頭蓋内原発germinomaのうち3例の大脳基底核部germinomaを経験したが，CT上，特徴的な所見を得，放射線療法が有効であった2例につき，臨床症状や診断治療についての文献的考察を加え報告する．

We reported two cases of germinoma otiginating inthe basal ganglia among the 50 cases of intracranial ger-minoma which were experienced at the Department ofNeurosurgery, Hokkaido University Hospital.

(Case 1) A 8-year-old boy was admitted to our hospital inOctober 1977, because of precocious puberty and lefthemiparesis. Plain CT showed an irregularly-defined highdensity lesion in the right basal ganglia, which had severallow density spots and was moderately enhanced on contrastCT.
