脳結核腫の1例

A Case of Intracranial Tuberculoma

I．はじめに

　脳結核腫は，結核性疾患の克服された今日，本邦では著明に減少しており，最近2,3年間では数例が報告されているにすぎない^11,12）．われわれは最近，20歳男性，ケイレン発作を唯一の症状として来院，肺結核症などの既往は何らなく，CT検査にて異常所見を認め，脳腫瘍の診断のもとに手術施行したところ脳結核腫であった1例を経験したので報告する．

The patient was a 20-year-old male who was admittedwith epileptic seizure in March 5, 1981. For 3 monthsprior to admission, he had been affected by 3 seizure attacks.

At admission, he was completely free neurologically.Laboratory examination showed no abnormality except formarkedly positive result of tuberculin reaction test. ChestX-P was normal. Episode of pulmonary tuberculosis wasdenied.

CT revealed irregular shaped low density area in the leftpostero-parietal region, in which two small high densityspots were visualized by contrast enhancement.

Craniotomy was made over the left postero-parietal region.
