I．はじめに

　平時における頭蓋脳穿通創の報告例は稀で，暴力に使用された凶器としてのナイフ等によるもの，また子供が自らの手に持った鉛筆等の先の尖った物の上に倒れ込んで受けた傷，等が一般的である．

　ここに報告する1例は，35cmの角材の柄の付いた，太さ1.5cm，長さ19cmの鉄杭が，偶然空中に放り上げられ，7mも宙を飛んで，校庭で除草作業中の学童の頭部に落下し，これを頭蓋弓隆部から下顎部に至るまで貫き通したものである．

An unusual case of a craniocerebral penetrating wound was reported, in that a ten year-old girl was hit in the head by an iron ground peg with a nylon rope which was accidentally pull out of the ground and hurled up in the air, when the other children pull on the both ends of the rope. The iron ground peg, 1.5cm in diameter and 19cm in length with a whitely painted wooden holder, was driven in the head of the girl, travelling some seven meter in the air.
