I．はじめに

　外傷性脳動脈瘤は稀とされながらも，近年その報告が増加している．本疾患は，1928年Birley^2）によって初めて報告され，前大脳動脈末梢の偽動脈瘤が1949年Krauland^7）により，中硬膜動静脈瘻が1951年Fincher^6）により，中硬膜動脈偽動脈瘤が1954年Lindgren^9）により，それぞれ初めて記載されている．しかし椎骨動脈系の外傷性脳動脈瘤の報告は今日でも稀であり，文献上2例を数えるにすぎない．われわれは椎骨動脈硬膜枝に生じた外傷性偽動脈瘤の1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

A traumatic false aneurysm of the meningeal branch of the vertebral artery was reported. The patient, a 31-year-old male, fell down the steps of stair case while he was drunk, and was found there in conscious. At the time of admission, he was in semicomatose state and slight right hemiparesis was noted. The plain craniogram revealed a linear fracture in the right occipital bone extending to the foramen magnum. Cerebral contusion and acute subdural hematoma in left front-temporal area were suspected in CT.
