Ⅰ．はじめに

　後頭蓋窩の動静脈奇形は頭蓋内動静脈奇形の5-15％にすぎないと言われており，先天的疾患と考えられているにもかかわらず，10歳以下の小児において発症することは極めて少なく，6歳以下ともなれば稀有である．後頭蓋窩動静脈奇形が出血によって発症した場合，多くは急速に死の道をたどるかまたは比較的長い経過をとって水頭症の症状を示してくる．

　著者らは出血によって発症し，急激な経過をとったにもかかわらず，的確な診断と治療により救命し，何ら神経症状を残すことなく復学し得た6歳の小脳動静脈奇形の1例を経験したので報告する．

A 6-year-old girl was admitted to the University Hospital with a complaint of sudden onset of unconsciousness. Neurological examinations were negative except for the nuchal rigidity. Four limbs spontaneously moved and no palsy was apparently recognized. Spinal tap revealed the subarachnoid hemorrhage and CT-Scan showed a high density area (5×2 cm) circumscribed in the upper vermis and left cerebellar hemisphere. CT-Scan also revealed a high density spot limited in the third ventricle which meant the posterior fossa hemorrhage extent to the third ventricle.
