Ⅰ．はじめに

　Seldinger法による選択的椎骨動脈撮影の合併症のうちで，神経学的合併症の発生頻度は，諸家の報告によれば，1.48-6.5％といわれている^{8，14，17）}．これらの神経学的合併症の中には，ごく軽度の一過性のものから，中枢神経系に永久障害を残す重篤なものまで，さまざまである^14）．

　最近．我々は，このうちでtransient cerebral blindnessをきたした1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

A 56-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital diagnosed as aneurysm at the basilar bifurcation on February 3, 1976. Neurological examination revealed no pathological findings, except for slight arteriosclerotic changes in the retinal arteries.

To examine the aneurysm more precisely we performed a selective vertebral angiography by transfemoral catheterization. During catheterization, a deformity of left vertebral orifice probably due to arteriosclerosis was noted. After catheterized, twelve injections each of 8ml of 65% methylglucamine diatrizoate were made.
