Ⅰ．はじめに

　硬膜外に原発する髄膜腫は，一般的にはextracalvarial meningioma^{3，12，14，18，20）}と呼ばれることが多いが，それ以外にもprimary extracranial meningioma^15），epidural meningioma^2）あるいはectopic meningioma^5）などとも呼ばれ諸家により種々の名称があって一定していない．

　一方，その発生頻度はきわめて稀であり，文献的には1904年Winkler^19）が"Über Psammome der Haut und des Unterhautgewebs"と1題して報告した症例が世界最初とされ，それ以後散発的にみられるにすぎない^{1，2，9，11，14，15，21）}．本邦における報告例も数少なく，文献的に著者らが蒐集しえた限りでは，現在までに7例^{3，6，8，10，18，20）}である．ただし，ここでは眼窩内および背髄硬膜外に発生した髄膜腫は一応除外した．というのは組織発生からすれば，頭部のextracalvarial meningiomaと共通する点もあるが，それぞれ臨床像が特徴的である上に，ひとつのおのおの独立したentityを持って診療対象となる状況が異なっているからである．

A case of primary extracalvarial meningioma located in the calvarium of the left frontoparietal region was presented.

Case UKNSEXK 75001: F. K. A 71-year-old woman was admitted to the Kaseda Hospital on October 10, 1975 because of painful subcutaneous swelling of the left frontoparietal region, which had been present for about 2 years after head injury, and accompanied with right hemiparesis and speech disturbance. Neurological examination revealed motor aphasia, dyscalculation and right hemiparesis. Plain film of the skull and cerebral angiogram suggested the osteogenic tumor.
