思春期早発症を呈して患側大脳半球萎縮をきたしたastrocytomaの1例

Ipsilateral Cerebral Hemiatrophy and Precocious Puberty produced by Astrocytoma:a Case Report

Ⅰ．はじめに

　大脳の二次性萎縮をきたす原因としては，種々の疾患があげられるが，腫瘍によるものはきわめてまれである^{7，8，9，12，13，15）}．このたび，われわれは思春期早発症を呈し，かつ同側大脳半球萎縮をきたした小児の星細胞腫の1例を経験したので報告する．また，このような症例は従来の神経放射線学的諸検査では診断がきわめて困難であるが，最近わが国でも，急速に普及・活用され始めたCT sannerによれば，診断ばかりでなく腫瘍の進展・経過の把握も容易であった．CTの有用性についてもあわせて述べる．

The secondary cerebral hemiatrophy is usually produced by miscellaneous brain diseases such as trauma, vascular accidents, infection, epilepsy, metabolic disorders, and a brain tumor may rarely act as a causative factor of the atrophy. So far as the authors surveyed, only six cases of tumors with cerebral atrophy have been reported.

Recently, such a rare case of astrocytoma accompanied by precocious puberty was experienced at our clinic. A nine-year-old boy was admitted to our hospital with left motor weakness and decline of intelligence for two years.
