　勃起不全患者と医療従事者におけるクエン酸シルデナフィルの認識度を，質問用紙を用いて調査，解析した。2001年の調査では発売当初の1999年と比較して，硝酸剤との併用禁忌を認識していない患者の割合が増加している一方で，催淫剤であるとの誤解は減少していた。医療従事者（看護婦）においては，硝酸剤併用禁忌についての質問に1割強が誤答を示し，また催淫剤であるとの誤解が約半数にみられ，この傾向は1999年，2001年とも変わらなかった。世間の関心が薄れた今こそ，本薬剤に対する正しい知識が広く普及するよう努める必要がある。

In order to evalute the level of recognition of sildenafil citrate use in erectile dysfunction (ED) patients, we con-ducted a questionnaire survey in 1999 and 2001 for both ED patients and medical staff (nurse). In ED patients, the rate of understanding this drug contraindicated to be used with angina pectoris medicine became lower in 2001 than in 1999, while understanding this drug not to be aphrodisiac became higher. More than 10% of medi-cal staff gave a wrong answer to the question about the contraindication and about 50% gave a wrong answer to the question about aphrodisiac both in 1999 and in 2001.
