患者は，45歳，女性。右側腹部痛にて当院を受診した。右腎腫瘍を認め右腎摘除術を施行した。病理学的に腎平滑筋肉腫であった。補助化学療法としてADIC療法（ADR，DTIC）を2コース施行した。腎平滑筋肉腫は1年生存率約60％，5年生存率約50％と予後不良であるが，長期生存の報告もある。本症例は術後2年の現在，再発を認めていない。
A 45 year-old woman was admitted to our hospital withthe chief complaint of a right flank pain. Computed tomog-raphy and magnetic resonance image revealed a right renaltumor. The patient underwent right radical nephrectomy.The histopathological diagnosis was leiomyosarcomaoriginating from the right kidney. Adjuvant chemotherapywith the regimens of adriamycin and dacarbazine wasa ministered in 2 courses. The patint remains free fromdisease 24 months after nephrectomy. We herein review93cases of renal leiosarcoma reported in the Japaneseliterature, incluoding our case
