　41歳，男性．尿閉，発熱を主訴に受診，直腸診で前立腺は圧痛を有する硬度軟の境界不明瞭な巨大腫瘤として触知された．X線の画像所見および経下腹壁的嚢腫ドレナージにより得た内容液から貯留性前立腺嚢腫と診断し，前立腺嚢腫壁切除術を施行した．術後骨盤部CT像では，術前と比べ前立腺による膀胱への圧排は著明に改善した．術後1年3ヵ月の現在，排尿障害，頻尿などの尿路障害はない．

A male, aged 41 years, presented with the chief complaints of urinary retention and high fever. On rectal examination, prostate was palpated as a giant soft tumor with undefined border and tenderness. Under the diagnosis of retention cyst of the prostate by X-ray findings and the content fluid collected by lower abdominal drainage, we undertook excision of prostatic cyst wall. Postoperative pelvic CT scans revealed marked decrease of cystic mass behind the urinary bladder. Patient postoperative course has shown no urinary tract disorders such as dysuria and pollakisuria, for one year and 3 months.
