緒言

　精索の結核性変化は，原発性結核と続発性結核とに区分することができ，このうち，睾丸，副睾丸，精管とは関係なく，精索に原発する結核は比較的まれである。われわれは，最近本症の1例を経験したので報告する。

A 46-year-old man without a history of tuberculosis presented with painless scrotal mass in the left side. A possibility of spermatic cord tumor was suggested on the basis of physical examination. Removal of the nodule revealed that the well-encapsulated tumor approximately 10 cm in diameter was originated from the spermatic cord, at the head of the epididymis, and not accompanied by overlying spread on adjunctive organs. Histologic sections showed that the tumor was composed mainly of epitheloid cells peculiar to tuberculous granuloma.
