緒言

　泌尿器外傷のうちで睾丸の外傷はまれなものではないが，手術によつて副睾丸のみの損傷が確認される場合は少なく，調査しえた範囲では2例のみである。われわれは最近サーフボードによるその1例を経験したので，診断，治療などについて若干の考察を加えて報告する。

A 20-year-old male was hit by a surfboard and got a bruise on his right scrotum in May 1976. He had a severe pain in the scrotum. Physical examination revealed subcutaneous hematoma in the right scrotum. No hematuria was noticed. X-ray examination disclosed no fracture of the pelvic bone. He was operated immediately and right epididymectomy was carried out under the diagnosis of rupture of the right epididymis. Right testicle appeared intact. Section of the epididymis revealed severe congestion and edema of the interstitial tissue. Inflammatory changes were absent. Fifteen days after operation the patient was dischardged.
