はじめに

　精索捻転症は睾丸回転症，睾丸茎捻転症，精系・精索捻転症などと雑多な名称で呼ばれ，また，睾丸梗塞もこの不全型とされている。現在まで300有余の本邦報告に接しているが，今回昭和46年4月より47年3月の1年間に4例の精索捻転症を経験したので報告する。

Four cases of torsion of the spermatic cord were experienced during the one year between April, 1971 and March, 1972. This is 3.2% of the admitted patients. The age ranged between 14 and 23. All of the cases occured on the rightside and this is interesting compaired to the fact that three fourth of the Japanese reported cases has occured on the left. One case occured in undescended testicle.
