緒言

　先天性陰茎捻転症はきわめてまれな疾患であり，本邦においては1939年松田^1）の報告以来現在まで自験例を含めてわずか15例をかぞえるにすぎない。最近，私達は本症の1例を経験したのでここに多少の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Case is a 4 years old infant with the chief complaint of penile torsion. There is nothing particular in the family and past history. Present illnes was noticed soon after birth but no treatment was done.The penis is twisted 90 degree counterclockwise with the urethral orifice being horisontal and raphe penis winding around the penis. The scrotal content are within normal limits with no abnormality of the external genitalia. Plastic surgery has not been done since the patient is still to young and no functional disturbance such as dysuria is noticed.
