緒言

　陰茎持続勃起症は，最近ではその報告例も比較的多くみられるようになり，それほど稀有な疾患ではなくなつた。しかしながら，その成因についてはいまだ定説がなく，ましてや治療法にいたつては多岐にわたり満足すべき有効な治療法もないのが現状であり，治療後も長期間性障害を残す等の解決されねばならない多くの困難な問題が残されている。

　最近私達は，陰茎持続勃起症の1症例に対して，その治療として抗キニン剤pyridinol carbam-ate（Anginin）（第1図）の投与を行ない治癒せしめ得たのでその概要について報告するとともに多少の文献的考察を試みた。

Case is a 37 year old male who developed priapism of cause unknown, and was admitted to our department. Pyridinol carbamate (Anginin) 1000mg/day for the errection and mefenamic acid 1000 mg/day to relief the pain was given oraly after admission. Errection and pain was relieved on the 2 nd day after mepication and the penis was decreased to the normal size and softness on the 5 th day. Anginin was prescribed and continued for one month. Patient was discharged on the 20 th day but 3 months after discharge no errection has been seen, although having sexual desire and ejaculation.
