はしがき

　尿道憩室は比較的まれな疾患とされているが，最近，本症に対する認識の向上とともに増加してきている。著者らも男子および女子尿道憩室の各2例を経験したので報告し若干の文献的考察を行なう。

Urethral diverticulum was considered as a rare disease, but the reported cases are increasing due to better understanding of this disease. 2 each cases of male and female urethral diverticulum, wasreported. 100 male and 74 female cases including our cases, are reported in the Japanese literature.The male urethral diverticulum are classified as the congenital and acquired type. They are classified from the past history, the age discovered and histopathological findings but quite often is difficult and dose not mean much.
