まえがき
内尿道切開術は，1854年Maisonneuveによつて始めて行なわれた。ついで1872年Otisが"dila-ting urethrotome"を発表したが，その後出血，感染などの合併症に対する批判から行なわれなかつた。1948年Davis and LeeはMaisonneuve ure-throtomeを用いて良結果を得，また最近では1967年Wolfがsuper otis urethrotomeを用いてやはり好成績をあげてから再び注目されている。本邦においては未だみるべき報告はないが，著者らは最近2年間に男子尿道狭窄の11例に内尿道切開術を行なつていささかの臨床知見を得たので発表して御批判を仰ぎたい。これに若干の文献的考察を加えた。
Urethrotomia interna was first performed by Maisonneuve in 1854, but, was ignored, since Otis in 1872, reported the poor results, until Davis in 1948, when he reevoluated this method.
Recently, Wolf in 1962 has presented good results by this method. The theory of this method, utilizing the regeneration of the urethra, is quite similar to the so-called intubated urethrotomy of Weaver in 1962. Inoue and Hirano has been reporting the results of intubated urethrotomy in Japan.
This paper is concerned on the good results obtained by urethrotomia interna using the Maisonneuve's urethrotome in 11 cases of urethral stricture.
