Ⅰ．はじめに

　近年，血管造影の技術は著しい進歩をみている。Seldingerにより，考按された経皮カテーテル法は，選択的に臓器の血管分布を鮮明に捉えることが可能となり，いろいろな診断に応用され，その果す役割は大きい。

　それらに関する内外の文献は多数に及び，有用性は強調されている。しかし，合併症について詳述した論文は，ことに本邦では少ない。私達は，経皮カテーテル法による選択的腎動脈撮影で1例の合併症に相遇した。

A case of arterial thrombosis, which occured at the punctured site right after and at the lower extremity on the next day and 2 days later, following percutanous selective renal angiograpy in a patient with renal hematuria resistant to various treatment, was reported.

Major complications following percutaneous renal angiography were discussed and the main point for its prevention were stressed. Angiography has become quite popular but still its hazards are not quite negligible, therefore the indication should be strictly considered and should not be done just to accumulate clinical data when its clinical value is not essential.
