Ⅰ．緒言
後腹膜腔に発生した血腫が長期間存在する場合に，結合組織の厚い被膜でつつまれ，陳旧性の血液を有する嚢腫を形成するが，通常のそれと異なり嚢腫壁に上皮細胞を有しないのが特徴である。
しかし後腹膜腔への出血が必ずしも血腫を形成するとは限らず，出血が速かでかつ大量であれば出血死に至り，少量であれば吸収されてしまい，従つて本症の発生には出血の程度と期間が必要となる。
A 55-year-old male case with renoprival hypertension caused by retroperitoneal encysted hematoma was reported.
Clinical diagnosis was suspecious of retroperitoneal tumor by pneumoretroperitoneum and retrograde pyelography, but the specimen of the tumor mass showed no malignancy and was composed of granulation tissue including hemosiderine-rich-macrophages and cappillary network.
The finding was a typical organized hematoma.
The postperative blood pressure responded to the tumor resection and declined to 130-80 mmHg after four weeks.
