Mucinosis follicularis （以下M．F．と略）は1957年Pinkus1）によつて，独立したclinical entityとして報告されて以来，欧米では百数十例におよぶ報告があり，本邦でも1935年鳴海の報告以来20例におよぶ報告が見られる（表1）．私は最近著明な好酸球ならびに細網細胞の増殖を伴う肉芽腫形成を呈した1症例を経験したのでここに報告する．
A 20-year-old man with follicular mucinosis had an infiltrated erythema on the face of 3 months' duration.
Biopsy specimen showed the formation of granulation with marked eosinophils and reticulum cells.
The substance deposited in the halr follicles on the affected areas was identified to be hyaluronic acid histochemically.
Histogencsis and the relationship between this disease and malignant lymphoma are discussed.
