　水痘に罹患後，胸部，右上腕，背部に発赤，腫脹とともに発熱などの重篤な全身症状を生じ，次第に皮疹は壊死に陥つたが，種々の治療により全身状態は収まり，壊死部には植皮を行なつて無事軽快した3歳女児の1例を報告する。

Gangraenous ulcers on the chest, back and right upper arm, 4×6, 11×13 and 6×15 cm in size respectively, in a 3 year- and 2 month-old girl had developed after chicken pox. The ulcers on the back and right upper arm had communication by the fistule. Staphylococcus aureus was cultured from the lesions. Hematologic findings and repeated attacks of fever suggested sepsis. After various kinds of powerful therapies including antibiotics, her general conditions improved. The mesh skin grafting was applied on the ulcers with success.
