　子宮卵管造影剤にはLipiodol-UF，あるいはPopiodolなどの製剤があるが，いずれもヨード剤であるためヨード過敏症の有無を検査して使用する場合がある。われわれは最近，婦人科において不妊症，子宮筋腫等の診断のための子宮卵管造影に先だちヨード過敏症の有無を知るために皮内反応を行ない，10〜34日して注射部位に発赤，腫脹，水疱形成をきたし，かゆみ，痛みを訴えて当科を受診した例を16例経験した。われわれは造影剤のいかなる成分がかかるSpontaneous flareup現象を起こしてくるのかに興味を持ち検討したので，その詳細をここに報告する次第である。

Sixteen cases of spontaneous flare-up reactions by the contrast media (Lipiodol-UF or Popiodol) with itchy or painful vesiculo-erythematous eruptions on the injected sites, 10-34 days after the test were reported.

Causative substances of the drug were separated by means of TLC, and the intracutaneous tests were performed in 8 cases. Ethylester of poppy oil fatty acid and its iodized derivative were proved to be active.
