　はじめに

　アミロイドーシスはアミロイド蛋白が全身の諸臓器に沈着し，機能障害を引き起こす疾患群である。近年，アミロイド蛋白とその前駆体が明らかになってきたが^1），未だにその病態には不明な点が多い。全身性アミロイドーシスの一環として唾液腺にアミロイドの沈着を認めることが報告されているが^2〜5），唾液腺に限局することは少ない^6〜9）。

　今回われわれは，唾液腺に集中して沈着したアミロイドーシスの1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 76-year-old woman complained of a swelling of the bilateral submandibular glands. The right submandibular gland was surgically extirpated and the pathologicalexamination revealed AA type amyloidosis by Congo-red stain with pretreatment by potassium permanganate. The whole body examination resulted in negative study and there was no evidence of systemic disease. Her bilateral parotid glands were also diffusely swollen and the labial salivary glands biopsy also revealed AA type amyloid deposition. Thereafter, the left sublingual gland was swollen and MRI demonstrated amyloidosis in other glands.
