　はじめに

　副咽頭間隙の疾患は稀であり，またその解剖学的特徴から比較的小さい間は自覚症状に乏しく，その存在を臨床的に疑うことは難しい。今回われわれは，咽喉頭の違和感を訴えて来院し，精査目的で行ったCTにて副咽頭の占拠性病変が発見され，副咽頭腫瘍として手術を行い内頸動脈瘤と判明した1例を報告する。

A 67-year-old female was complaining of abnor-mal sensation of pharynx. Diagnosis of a benign tumor in the right parapharyngeal space was made by preoperative examinations including CT-scan, MRI. Under general anesthesia, operation was per-formed through a cervical approach and the mass in the right parapharyngeal space was found as a giant aneurysm of the internal carotid artery. Postope-ratively, there were no complications except for a light paresis of the tongue of the right side.
