　I，緒言

　頸動脈瘤は，比較的稀な疾患であるが，筆者らは，咽頭部異和感を正訴とし，右軟口蓋から口蓋弓にかけて拍動性腫瘤をみ，右頸動脈瘤の診断で手術を行った症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A case of aneurysm of the right internal carotid artery was reported. It occurred in a 74-year-old woman who admitted to our hospital with a chief complaint of foreign body sensation in the throat. Right carotid artery angiography was performed and the aneurysm at the right internal carotid artery was detected pre-operatively. Resection of the aneurysm and end to end anastomosis was performed.

　Even through serological examination of blood showed a strong reaction to syphilis, histopathological study revealed an arteriosclerotic change, and her post-operative course was uneventful.
