　はじめに

　血管平滑筋腫は主に四肢に発生する良性腫瘍で，頭頸部領域に認められることは比較的少ない。今回われわれは，耳介後面に発生した血管平滑筋腫の1例を経験したので報告する。

Angioleiomyoma is rarely seen in the head and neck region.

A 49-year-old male presented with a tender mass on the posterior surface of his left auricle. The pain disappeared immediately after excision of the mass in toto. The pathological studies of the lesion showed angioleiomyoma.

Immunohistochemical examinations for alpha-smooth muscle actin, factor VIII-associated antigen and CD-34 were valuable for diagnosis. It was sup-posed that the tumor might be caused by chronic, mechanical stimulation due to wearing glasses.
