　はじめに

　髄膜腫はクモ膜組織から発生する良性の腫瘍であり，成人に好発し，小児例は少ない^1）。通常，本症は頭蓋内に発症するが，稀に鼓室内に進展したり鼓室に原発する例もある，このような場合，初期には臨床症状を示さず，難聴や顔面神経麻痺をきたして初めて気づかれることも多い。今回，滲出性中耳炎の経過中に鼓室内腫瘤を発見され，臨床的には真珠腫と思われたが，最終的には多発性髄膜腫の部分症状であった小児例を経験したので報告する。

A rare case of juvenile middle car meningioma in a 7-year-old boy who had been treated for otitis media with effusion for 3 years is reported. A white tumorous mass in the lower tympanum was found through the intact eardrum. The mass was removed surgically and the histology proved it to be a mixed type of meningioma. CT and MRI taken after the operation elucidated that there were multicentric tumorous masses in the left ventricle, around the left sphenoid ridge and around the pars petrosa of the right temporal bone.
