はじめに
悪性リンパ腫は，ホジキン病と非ホジキンリンパ腫（NHL）に大別されるが，NHLは免疫学的検索方法の進歩によって，リンパ球由来の腫瘍であることが判明した。さらにT細胞，B細胞，あるいはその分化段階やサブセットを知ることができるようになった。モノクローナル抗体を利用することにより膜表面抗原を検索し腫瘍細胞の生物学的性状を知ることが可能であり，病態の理解および治療方針の決定などに応用できるようになりつつある。
鼻腔発生の悪性リンパ腫の多くはT細胞由来とされ，Waldayer輪に発生するリンパ腫の多くがB細胞性であるのとは対象的である。本論文ではわれわれの経験した市立吹田市民病院の5例の鼻腔発生NHLについて臨床的病理学的特徴を免疫組織学的検討の結果を含めて報告する。
In five cases of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the nasal cavity, tumors were observed in the nasal septum, the fundus of nasal cavity and the soft palate, which showed progressive ulceration and necrosis. Two of them died within a year and one died within three years after histological diagnosis was obtained. Two patiens were still alive at the time of report without remission for more than three and four years respectively. According to the LSG classification, two cases had diffuse lymphoma of medium-sized type and three had diffuse lymphoma of pleomorphic type. Im-munohistochemial studies revealed that all five cases possessed T-cell markers. Staining with Leu 3 antibody in four cases revealed that all cases tested derived from helper/inducer lymphocytes.
