はじめに

　卵黄嚢腫瘍，いわゆるYolk-sac腫瘍は，性腺由来の悪性腫瘍として知られているが，性腺外^1〜6）にも稀に発生することが報告されている。今回我我は，上咽頭に発生し呼吸困難をきたし，緊急気管切開を要した極めて稀なYolk-sac腫瘍の1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Endodermal sinus tumor (yolk sac tumor) is known as a malignant germ cell tumor of the gonads. We report the first case of an endodermal sinus tumor of the nasopharynx in a two-year-old boy.

Histologically, there was the pattern of Schiller-Duval like bodies. Immunoproxidase stains for α-fetoprotein (AFP) was positive. The value for AFP in laboratory data was 41,450ng/ml (normal ＜10ng/ml). The patient was treated with irra-diation and then chemotherapy without surgery. The patient survived 1 1/4 years after treatment.
