I．はじめに

　頭蓋内原発yolk sac tumorは稀な疾患の1つでありgerm cell tumorの数％を占めるにすぎない，しかもそのほとんどが松果体部に発生しており，前頭葉内に発育したyolk sac tumorの報告は，われわれが渉猟しえた範囲ではいまだ見られない．

　今回われわれは，蝶形骨縁内側より第3脳室前方から前頭葉内に発育したyolk sac tumorに対し，手術，放射線療法および化学療法を行い完全寛解が得られた症例を経験したので，若干の考察を加え報告する．

A case of primary intracranial yolk sac tumor, thefirst known case growing in the frontal lobe, iscom-pared with similar cases of suprasellar region. Thecase, 18-year-old female, suffered from headache,vomitting and visual disturbance for one month priorto the hospitalization. Plain CT scan demonstratedsupressed left anterior horn and normal density areain front of it. After injection of contrast medium,the area was enhanced distinctly. The left carotidangiography displayed a hypervascular mass in thesuprasellar region and tumor stain was also seen in thecapillary phase.
