はじめに
Fibrous dysplasia（線維性骨異形成）は，原因不明の慢性骨疾患であり，長管骨をはじめ全身の骨を侵すことで知られている。本疾患は頭蓋骨にも発生するが，側頭骨はそのなかでは比較的稀である1）。今回我々は，側頭骨の腫脹，外耳道狭窄，難聴を主訴とする側頭骨のfibrous dysplasiaの2症例（monostoticとpolyostotic）を経験したのでここに報告し，文献的考察を加えた。
The first case is a 35-year-old man who com-plained of a swelling of the bilateral temporal bone, stenosis of the external auditory canal and a con-ductive hearing loss. The bone scan revealed abnormalities in both temporal bones, the man-dible, the right femur and the right ankle.
The second case is a 46-year-old woman who complained of a swelling of the left temporal bone, stenosis of the external auditory canal and a conductive hearing loss. Bone scan demon-strated an abnormality in the left temporal bone.
The pathological findings in both cases revealed fibrous dysplasia. The first case was of polyostotic type and the other was of monostotic type.
