はじめに

　先天性耳瘻孔は耳介およびその周囲にみられる先天性の瘻孔である。第一鰓弓，第二鰓弓由来の発生異常と考えられており，発症頻度は1％程度とされている^1）。今回われわれは，10年間に当科で先天性耳瘻管摘出術を施行した患者48人（13〜68歳）について，過去の報告と比較検討し，若干の知見を得たので報告する。

　We reviewed 48 patients with congenital aural fistulas at our department during a 10-year period.

　There were differences in the operation time that depended on the anesthesia method, presence or absence of auricular cartilage penetration, and the period between the disappearance of the latest infection and the operation.

　In addition, this statistic suggests that if surgery is performed within one and a half months from the latest infection, the risk of postoperative complications may increase. The relationship between the time of surgery and postoperative complications should be considered in many cases of fistulas.
