はじめに

　鼓室内赤色腫瘤は，大きさによっては拍動性耳鳴や一側性難聴などの症状を呈し，日常診療において時に経験することがある。鑑別診断として，側頭骨グロムス腫瘍，頸静脈球高位，中耳内頸動脈走行異常，動脈瘤，コレステリン肉芽腫などが挙げられる。今回われわれは，鼓膜から透見された赤色腫瘤の2例を経験したので報告する。

　We experienced 2 patients with a reddish mass in penetrating the tympanic membrane.

　The first case was of a 47-year-old woman with otalgia. The CT and MRI findings showed a tumor in the tympanic cavity, which was diagnosed as a glomus tumor. Tumor resection was performed under general anesthesia, and the tumor was pathologically diagnosed as paraganglioma.

　The second case was of a 45-year-old woman with pulsatile tinnitus. The CT scan demonstrated an aberrant course of the internal carotid artery in the middle ear. We continued to see her during follow-up.

　The CT scan was useful in making the diagnosis.
