We examined increase in height and body weight of children who underwent adenotonsillectomy for obstractive sleep apnea syndrome(OSAS)in our department since November 2013. The candidates were patients under 12 years old with no serious medical history. We sent questionnaires to patient's families regarding their height and weight every year after their initial operation.

We investigated the increases in height and body weight in 87 children for 1 year and 23 children for 3 years.

The children's average height and body weight significantly increased over the first year.
