I．緒言

　誘因なく虹彩の前面から，赤味だいだい色を呈した新生物が次第に増大し，視力障害を来した為その腫瘤を摘出し，病理組織学的検索を行つた。このような症例は稀有のものと思うのでカラー写真と共に報告する。

A 32-year-old farmers wife who had been suffering from idiopatic red coloured iris-tu-mor in her right eye was examined by us. This tumor was discovered by others about 3 years ago and gradually enlarged to 8 mm ×5mm. The. surface was flat and the colour was beautiful light reddish orange.

The visual acuity was 0.3 (n.c.). She didnot complain any other disturbances in the eye.

Biopsy had been performed by extraction of tumor, but recurrence of tumor has not occurred during one and half year. Pathohis-tologically, the tumor mass consisted of pol-ygonal hell ep.
