I．はじめに

　鼻腔異物は幼小児がおもちゃなどを誤って外部より挿入して発生することが多く，初診時に視診で異物が確認摘出されることが一般的である。最近われわれは本人が異物を自覚せず長期にわたって放置していた成人の症例，および初診時に異物が確認されず摘出が困難であった症例を経験したので報告する。

Among the cases of foreign bodies recently treated at the Department of Otolaryngology, Tottori University Hospital, two interesting cases are reported. A 50-year-old female presented with a foreign body of the material used for dental treatment. The patient had not noticed it for a long period of time.

The second case, an 1-year-old boy was injured by a wooden chopstick in the right nasal cavity, and the tip of the chopstick was missing. But it was found in the nasal cavity and removed under general anesthesia.
