I．はじめに

　髄膜腫は多くは頭蓋内あるいは脊椎管内に発生するが，時として頭蓋外にも発生あるいは進展することがある。今回われわれはCollet-Sicard症候群をきたして当科を受診し，頸静脈孔を中心として後頭蓋窩より副咽頭間隙に連続して広がる小児髄膜腫の1症例を経験したので報告する。

An 8-year-old boy was first presented with par-alysis of the IX th, X th, XI th, and XIIth cranial nerves of the left side (Collet-Sicard syndrome). Plain x-ray studies revealed hyperosteosis and calcification around the jugular foramen. Brain CT showed an enhanced mass in the left posterior cranial fossa extending into the parapharyngeal space. Two-staged surgery was performed, thefirst for the removal of intracranial tumor by neurosurgeons and the second for the parapharyn-geal tumor by otolaryngologists. Staged operationis highly recommended for the removal of a large tumor which is located in both intra and extra cranial spaces.
