側頭骨chondroblastomaの1症例

Chondroblastoma of the Temporal Bone

I．はじめに

　軟骨芽細胞腫（chondroblastoma）は原発性骨腫瘍のわずか1％を占めるにすぎず^1）稀な疾患である。発生部位はさまざまであるが一般に長管骨の骨端部に発生し，頭頸部領域に生じることはきわめて珍らしい。今回われわれは側頭骨のchon—droblastomaを経験し，術後約10年を経た現在も良好な経過を得ているので，ここに報告する。

　なお現在までの報告をみると，側頭骨のchon—droblastoma症例は著者の検索しえたかぎりでは国外に14例を数え，本邦では伊藤ら^2）に続いてこの報告が第2例目の報告となる。

A 33-year-old man had a tender mass (80×70 mm) in the right temporal area, and complained of hearing loss and tinnitus in the right car.

Computed tomography revealed that the squa-mous portion and the mastoid portion of the tem-poral bone and a part of the sphenoid bone were replaced by tumor. Partial resection of the tumor was performed, and postoperative course was un-eventful, except for an immediate mild facial palsy on the right forehead. The patient showed no neurological signs and symptoms for 10 years post-operatively.
