はじめに

　頭頸部領域に発生する血管腫・血管奇形は，しばしば「血管腫」と総称され数多く報告されているが，血管腫と血管奇形を明確に分類して報告したものは少ない。国際血管腫・血管奇形学会（International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomaly：ISSVA）による分類（以下，ISSVA分類と略す）では両者は明確に区別されており，おのおの治療方針も異なる。

　今回われわれは耳下腺内に発生したISSVA分類での静脈奇形症例を経験したので，血管腫と血管奇形の分類・治療法を中心に若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

　“Vascular tumor”and“vascular malformation”of the head and neck are often called“hemangioma”. The definite classification of vascular tumor and vascular malformation are often difficult. According to the classification of International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomaly：ISSVA classification, vascular tumor and vascular malformation are classified based on endothelial behavior. Generally called“hemangioma”in adult is mostly“vascular malformation”by the pathological diagnosis. As vascular malformation does not disappear naturally, it usually requires active treatment including excision. The definite classification of vascular tumor and vascular malformation based on ISSVA classification is very important for decision making of the appropriate treatment plan.
