耳下腺脂肪腫の1例

A case of lipoma of the parotid gland

はじめに

　耳下腺に発生する良性腫瘍の多くは多形腺腫などの上皮性腫瘍であり，脂肪腫のような間葉系腫瘍は比較的稀である。報告によれば，耳下腺脂肪腫が発生する頻度は全耳下腺腫瘍中1％前後とされている^1）。今回われわれは右耳下部の無痛性腫瘤にて当科紹介となり，細胞診および画像所見より脂肪腫の疑いで手術となった症例を経験したので，文献的考察を含め報告する。

　Most benign tumors arising from the parotid gland are epithelial tumors, such as pleomorphic adenoma, and mesenchymal tumors, such as lipoma, are relatively rare. Lipomas of the parotid gland are reported to account for around 1％ of all parotid gland tumors. We reported a patient with lipoma of the parotid gland who was referred to our department with a painless mass in the right parotid region with a review of the literature. Histological examinations and imaging of the mass suggested the diagnosis of lipoma, and the patient was treated by surgical resection.
